BASCON Control Technologies Inc. has been providing laboratory calibration and commissioning services to the Ottawa region since 1993. Our organization specializes in mechanical/control systems calibration and commissioning for laboratories, office buildings, parking garages and other facilities. Bascon Control Technologies Inc. is a
bonded corporation with a Secret Security clearance recognized by the Federal government.
Our employees have been trained in confined space, fall protection training/certification, gas detection, laboratory testing, etc. All personnel have experienced in various types of labs including; BSL 1 to 3, vivarium’s, chemical laboratories, research laboratories, Investigative Testing Laboratories, etc.

Our company has employed individuals who are considered specialists in the calibration and commissioning of; various types of input sensors, dampers, variable frequency drives, relays, building automation systems, supply and exhaust fans, etc.

Our company provides employees with extensive experience in operating a mass spectrometers, hotwire anemometers, noise meters, nitrogen gases, oxygen gases, mixed gases, propane gases, CO gases, CO2 gases, refrigerant gases etc., and the related cylinders. Our team members are familiar in using standard calibration gases that are used to calibrate zero and span gas concentrations for various sensors Employees are also proficient in the mobilization/storage of compressed gas cylinders and the calibration/commissioning of gas detection systems.

Our company has worked in several facilities including; Federal governmental department experience, Natural Resources Canada, Canadian Border Services, National Research Canada, Health Canada, Agriculture Canada, RCMP etc. and private contractors.
Experienced in various Direct Digital Control system (DDC or BAS) Pneumatic control systems, stand alone control systems and the calibration and commissioning of the related building systems.

Strategies used: Supplied, installed, calibrated, commissioned, decommissioned, programmed, networked various automated controls used to monitor environmental conditions and adjust systems operation, to meet building occupant needs.

Our organization has personnel factory trained on Reliable Controls and Johnson Controls BAS systems. Experienced in the calibration and commissioning various other building automation systems, laboratory control systems, air valve technologies, and BACnet/Modbus networking systems.

Extensive BACnet experience. Experienced in IOT integration to the building automation systems Ventilation Strategies: These strategies are specific to HVAC ventilation systems and controls. Experienced in calibration, trouble shooting, selecting, installing, controlling,
and monitoring building hazardous gas detection systems including all end devices being controlled by the gas detection system.

Factory trained in Accutrol Accu-valve and Phoenix lab control systems. Experienced in laboratory and workshop ventilation air distribution systems that incorporate air control valves where tracking between make up air supply, general exhaust, and containment exhaust systems (fume hoods) is required.
